What makes someone an Anti-Christ? On this page it’s folks who preach hatred, bigotry and intolerance under the guise of their religious beliefs. They do not have to be Christian or clergy, though it helps. Since, according to Left Behind author Tim Lahaye and possibly the book of Revelations, the actual Antichrist will not join us until after the rapture, we’ll just have to get by with the evil that men do. While they be False Prophets, their profits are anything but.
Please submit your suggestions for additions to the list. Here are a few of mine.
Jerry Falwell -- Anti-Christ Emeritus – The ironically named Right Reverend Falwell is no longer with us. He leaves behind a lifetime of evildoing thinly veiled by the robes of his place at the head of his televangelical congregation. Falwell devoted his life to preaching his hatred, destroying other ministries, stealing television satellites and using his pulpit for political gain all while enjoying tax exempt status. He founded the religious political PAC called the Moral Majority (though it is neither) and continues his posthumous ministry of hate through the university he founded. Best Know For – Siding with the terrorists after 911.
Pat Robertson – Senile televangelist who consistently comes down on the side of hatred and intolerance while exploiting his congregation to further his own political ends. Best Known For – Blaming the victims of the Haiti earthquake for the quake while speaking up for slavery.
Rick Warren – California Megachurch Minister who compared being gay to being a criminal and then lied about doing it. Was rewarded for his duplicity by being selected to deliver the invocation at President Obama’s inauguration. Best Known For – Lying about his beliefs to garner political favor.
Pres. Almondine – Shrimpy Iranian puppet leader, handpicked by his country’s religious dictators to rule as their figurehead. Best Known For – stealing elections and siding with the Nazi’s by denying the holocaust.
Tony Perkins – Voice of Evil who, as the head of the American Family Research council, works to deliver the bigot vote to his conservative political overlords. Best Known For – Holding a televised prayer vigil to ask the almighty to kill Senator Robert Byrd so they could prevent poor people from gaining access to healthcare.
Boyd Packer – Heartless Morman Elder who took the opportunity of a rash gay teen suicides to denounce gay people as unnatural, impure and against his god’s laws. Best Know For – being an elder in the quasi-religious Morman Political organization who’s agenda, though based on hatred and discrimination, is as yet unclear.

Oh, great, now I’m going to have nightmares….. oh, hey, I have one… Mitt Romney!
Eh, George Bush, Obama….
Hi Brit!
Thanks for being FIRST! And for all your many thoughtful comments and kind words.
Pretty scary group, right? Just in time for Halloween.
I think all your nominees are great choices for the “says one thing about their religious beliefs, does the opposite” cabal.
Romney is ironic since he presided over Massachusetts implementing Universal Healthcare and Gay Marriage, didn’t he?
What do you think are the best examples of these men using their beliefs in God to justify their bad behavior?
You are very welcome. And so true! I’d take Norman Bates over any of these guys, though.
Right right. Romney is more than ironic, he is a SUCH a sleazebag. I mean- yuck.
Well, I think the one who takes the cake is probably Boyd Packer, when he called gay relationships “counterfeit and satanic”. That really drove me over the edge. Yeah- hate is really a big “moral standard”, isn’t it?
I’m also pretty disgusted by Achmadinejad. “There are no gays in Iran”? Gives me shivers. [No wonder the place is such a nightmare!] I don’t know why he would deny the holocaust- I was surprised he wasn’t actively defending it.
Phyllis Schafly?
On the National and International scenes to be sure, it could be said that while all politicians are crooks and whores, not all crooks nor whores are politicians!
Well observed! It would be a shame to defame honest crooks and whores with such with such a craven mantle —
Thanks for posting!

The first person I thought of was Jerry Falwell and he’s first on your list! These people are all filled with hate and in for a rude awakening when they die. If there is a hell it will be filled with those people and we will all be drinking champagne in heaven.
I just hope they get to see all the harm and pain they caused in life. I can’t really believe in hell, it’s not consistent with my feelings about the divine force of love that inspires creation. It’s like saying god thought of babies and kittens and rainbows and the lake of fire and enternal damnation. I wouldn’t mind if he gets to feel bad about being such a jerk, though.
I nominate Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina. He recently said that “everyone” secretly urged him not to back down from his 2004 statement that gay people and unwed mothers should be banned from teaching—although no one publicly came to his defense. In an interview this October, DeMint said that these silent supporters “don’t want government purging their rights and their freedom to religion,” construing the failure to ban gay teachers as an attack on Christians. He also defended his position on gay teachers by pointing out that he’s consistent: He doesn’t think pregnant unmarried women ought to teach, either. He bases this off of his “moral opinion”.
God help us…
David Bahati of Uganda, who wants to jail or kill all the gays there.
David Bahati of Uganda should be added. He’s the lawmaker who wants to imprison or kill Ugandan gays and lesbians.
Good one.
The Bushes. All of them.
@Joan Heneham
YES, I second her “The Bushes. All of them.” plus Karl Rove, Tricky Dick Cheney, the public voices of The Bushes!
Senator David Vitter, Senator John Edward, preaching Family Values and using prostitutes and other women for self gratification.
Why would anyone want pictures of these sick, white, fucks on their page?
